Cons: This laptop is very slow, Vista takes for ever to load, I have uninstalled most of the trash-ware it come with using their uninstaller but it does no seem to help. I know that most of the problems are caused by Vista; I rarely see the HD’s light off, even when the machine is idle. The touchpad buttons are too noisy.
Overall Review: I’m sure Win 7 will solve the slowness problem, I installed it on an 80GB HD and it works great; it recognizes all the hardware and the machine feels much snappier. Some of the Sony apps crash the system; the power management utility is one of them. I’ll do a clean Install w/o the Sony apps and use Win 7 until I get my official copy from Sony.

Pros: sleek and lightweight model with several features I was looking for. bluetooth, SD card support, DVD. plenty of memory and an apparent upgrade path to Windows 7 is a plus. I purchased this from B*B 1st day of availability, same price as newegg.
Cons: The vaio care and wireless software is annoying, but works. After a couple weeks, the device would not boot up and would only get a black screen (which freaked me out, i thought the display was dead). i had to remove the battery and reboot, then the screen worked.. probably a BIOS issue, but none the less. earned itself only 4 eggs.
Overall Review: They have another model which is similar and a slightly larger screen; however, it did not seem to have the features I liked. was heavier and larger. I think this model could have upgraded the display just to a size slighter larger.
