How to Update Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

Hi I have a Mac Powerbook Pro and an iOmega portable hard drive. The iOmega is corrupted and disk utility says I need to reformat it. I've googled and tried these forums, but can't seem to figure out how I'd go about reformatting it? Oct 14, 2018  I have tried deleting all things Iomega and reinstalling it all when the device is plugged back in. It hasnt changed anything - The only response i get is an Iomega dialogue box pop up saying 'please insert a supported device' with a few tick boxes for altering how the app runs (nothing relating to reading the device or anything useful).
